2024 EEO-1 Compliance: Reporting Criteria and Key Dates
The 2024 EEO-1 Component 1 data collection is now open. The deadline to file the report is Tuesday, June 24, 2025. All private employers with 100 or more employees and all federal contractors and first-tier subcontractors with 50 or more employees AND contracts of at least $50,000 are required to complete the EEO-1 report every year. Employees without a permanent physical work location should be reported under their supervisor's work location. If neither the employee nor their supervisor has a physical location, the employee should be reported under the headquarters report.

Securing Recruitment: Tips to Combat Phishing Attacks
Recruiters & hiring managers, be warned! Cybercriminals are targeting the recruiting process with phishing attacks linked to resumes and cover letters attached to emails. Employers should take steps to educate their employees on cybersecurity measures they can take to protect themselves and the company, including how to identify phishing emails. 1) Check the sender's email address. 2) Look for unusual content or unexpected requests. 3) Hover over the link. Does the displayed link match the actual hyperlink? 4) Watch out for urgent or pressure tactics. Recruiters should encourage candidates to apply through their careers portal, if applicable.
